Motorola is one of the top 5 leading mobile phone manufacturers in India and comes with some very good products worth its value. The first colloquial word that pops up in one’s mind for Motorola mobile phones is ‘cool’.

Most of the models offered by Motorola are in par with the trend charts and the latest craze that has bugged the users. It fares great on looks and style quotient. Some exciting models too have been launched in the market with some exMobileent promotional campaigns starring the famous actor Abhishek Bacchhan. The ads aren’t a misguided five minute piece of video- they do deliver what they say. But the problem is that the very good ones have a fair pricing too. Don’t interpret the previous sentence as the pricing being too much! What it meant was; the high end users have their piece of cake in the form of the snazzy mobiles like the MotoRokR, but what about the average user who would rather want a complete package at a cheaper price?!

The MotoYuva series is excellent in terms of value for money. They actually come up with some of the ‘in’ features at an affordable price. The price range starts from as low as 2000 bucks odd. However, as the name suggest in Hindi, these are more youth oriented or the assumed-youth oriented. Where the average user sees Motorola as a failure is, in the 5 K to 10 K range. In this range, one somehow feels that he or she isn’t quite getting the complete value of one’s money. The major reason isn’t that Motorola doesn’t provide good features, but the reason is more of those other manufacturers provide better features for the same price. Two of the best Motorola products are the Motoyuva and the music edition series for the music lovers. In the rest of the categories one tends to opt other Mobile Phones over Motorola for obvious reasons.

Now, beyond the user-manual features, are the problems that one encounters only after he or she purchases the mobile and uses it for a considerable time! The sets, if not all, have a poor battery back up. The software is more prone to getting corrupted and once corrupted is hard to repair. Why just the software? Motorola Mobile Phones are hard to repair in general. Replacement of single parts is like a dream come true! The camera and picture quality isn’t the best available and again the components are too fragile. The battery life isn’t impressive either. The customer service is another turn-off for the customer. The existing users can tell you more about their woes.

Motorola is like a mobile phone that needs it to be treated like a baby rather than a mobile phone. Go for it if you have the patience to handle with care! Some models maybe great on value but other than the few, there are actually better options provided by other mobile phone manufacturers.
